Meeting #2 -Part 1(shooting) and Part 2(Walking Dead)

Part One of Meeting #2 - Shooting

Some topics of discussion:
-The need for a ZAP emergency meeting place, so we can come together when the world ends
-Talk of making our 72 hour Kits
    ~Making the kits from WWII Ammo boxes(found at Smith and Edwards for $5)
    ~Paint our ZAP achievement badges on the 72 hour kits
-Buying machete's for when all our ammo runs out and we're force into hand to hand zombie combat
-"Cardio Lesson" Maybe getting ourselves ready to run a 5k?

We also served Buffalo Broccoli Pie and watched Episode 2 of Season 2 of The Walking Dead.  We're working on finding someone to make us ZAP T-shirts, and have been designing the merit badges :).

Meeting #1 - Introduction

Last night was our first "meeting" we watched the season two premiere of "The Walking Dead". It was great fun! Thanks for coming everyone!!

Also this next week either Monday or Tuesday(October 24th and 25th) we want to take ZAP shooting, So please put what day and times would work best for you!

Mission Statement


Zombie Apocalypse Preparation
Mission Statement:

Zombie Apocalypse Preparation (ZAP) was created to ensure the continued existence of a virus-free, human population, in case of an apocalyptic zombie event.  The main goals of the organization are as follows:
  1.     Teach skills needed to survive cataclysmic events (e.g. power failure, uncontrolled rioting, nuclear fallout, food shortages, etc.) 
  2.   Increase awareness of zombie-specific apocalyptic events
  3. Train proper techniques to destroy a zombified body, and how to implement various objects as weapons
ZAP is designed specifically to help you prepare for a zombie apocalyptic event in the most efficient manner possible. Your cooperation and ideas are needed to enhance our chances of survival.


Necessary survival skills that the organization will focus on:

  •   First-aid (homemade medicine)
  •   Food storage (food preservation, canning)
